Terms and Conditions

  1. All dogs treated by Tutehill K9 Hydrotherapy require a signed Vet Referral Form by your Veterinary Surgeon prior to treatment.
  2. Payment of services is due on the day of the booked session. Discounted blocks bookings are available and need to be paid in full in advance of your sessions. Block bookings are only for weekly or fortnightly appointments only. All payments are to be made in debit card, cash, or bank Transfer. Ask Sharon for Bank Details. A receipt can be supplied for each payment or an invoice for your insurance Company.
  3. We accept you may occasionally need to cancel your booked appointment and our cancellation policy requires a 48-hour notice period. For cancelled appointments outside this period or non-attendance, the session fee will be charged in full.
  4. Tutehill k9 hydrotherapy will make all efforts to contact owners if an appointment needs to be changed or cancelled but will not accept any liability for any losses or damage.
  5. If your dog has an infectious or contagious condition or diarrhoea 48 hours prior to your session you are required to inform us to reschedule your appointment. If your dog comes into season, you must inform us as she will be unable to attend hydrotherapy clinic until her season is over. Kennel cough is highly contagious so if you suspect your dog has been exposed or has developed kennel cough, then they are not permitted to attend hydrotherapy clinic for 14 days.
  6. It is very important not to feed your dog for at least 3 hours prior to a hydrotherapy session and for at least 1-2 hours after your session has finished.
  7. Your dog MUST be toileted prior to arrival. You can walk your dog on our grassed lonning area should you need to. Please leave plenty of time for this on arrival and please clean up after your dog and use the bins provided. If your dog has not fully toileted prior to arrival, you MUST inform the Hydrotherapist on arrival. It is the decision of the Hydrotherapist as to whether your dog will be allowed in the pool. If your dog is not permitted in the pool the session fee will still be charged. If the hydrotherapy pool is fouled an additional fee of £100 will be charged due to the extra cleaning and possible closure of the pool room.
  8. Please always keep your dog under control in the car park area and clinic. Although your dog may be generally well behaved, please be mindful of other dogs on the premises.
  9. Please abide by the visitor’s health and safety information on entering the clinic and wear clean, sensible footwear, as in our wet rooms water on the floor is unavoidable.
  10. We understand that at certain times of the year it can be a challenge to keep your dog mud free and ask you to bring as clean a dog as possible to the clinic. Please provide a towel for your dog and or a drying coat especially in the winter months.
  11. We would ask you to inform us if the injury or condition of your dog deteriorates or if your Veterinary Surgeon requires you to withhold treatment or exercise.
